To preserve the integrity and performance of your watch, Avedis Gabriel offers a meticulous in-house service process performed exclusively at our Authorized Service Centre in Toronto.

AVEDIS GABRIEL SERVICE OVERVIEW

Every full service includes a complete overhaul of your watch’s Swiss movement to ensure it continues to perform according to factory specifications.

Clients may also choose to include a case and bracelet refinishing to restore the original finish and brilliance of the timepiece. Accuracy, power reserve, and waterproofing are tested with rigorous protocols.

To ensure your watch performs flawlessly after servicing, we recommend manually winding your Avedis Gabriel before wearing it. Simply unscrew the crown, turn it clockwise about 20 times, and then securely screw the crown back in place to maintain water resistance.

THE SERVICE PROCESS

DIAGNOSIS & ESTIMATE

Before any work is performed, your watch undergoes a full diagnostic evaluation. One of our certified watchmakers will examine the movement, case, and bracelet in detail. Based on this assessment, we will provide you with an itemized service estimate outlining all necessary repairs and optional enhancements.

DISASSEMBLY

Upon approval, the watch is carefully disassembled:
The bracelet is removed.
The case is opened, and the movement is extracted.
The case components (bezel, crown, gaskets, crystal, etc.) are taken apart for individual cleaning and inspection.

SERVICING THE MOVEMENT

The movement is fully dismantled and each part is ultrasonically cleaned in a series of specialized solutions.

Components are closely inspected for wear or damage. Worn parts are replaced using only genuine Swiss-made Avedis Gabriel components to preserve integrity and precision.

LUBRICATION & REASSEMBLY

Each functional part is expertly lubricated with specific oils and greases to reduce friction and wear.

The movement is then reassembled in accordance with Swiss horological standards.

REGULATION & CALIBRATION

The movement’s oscillation rate is fine-tuned using advanced calibration tools.
Timing is verified digitally across multiple positions and power levels to ensure long-term accuracy.
The power reserve is also tested to meet or exceed original specifications.

CASE & BRACELET REFINISHING (Optional)

Clients may request full case and bracelet refinishing as part of the service:

Light scratches are polished or brushed away by hand, restoring the factory finish.
All parts are ultrasonically cleaned to remove dirt and debris.
Worn or damaged external components are replaced with authentic Avedis Gabriel parts.

REASSEMBLY & WATER RESISTANCE

The movement is reinstalled, and the case is reassembled with new seals and gaskets.
The watch undergoes multiple waterproofing tests:

Vacuum Test
Pressure Test
Condensation Test

These ensure the case is completely sealed and resistant to water ingress.

FINAL QUALITY CONTROL

Every serviced Avedis Gabriel watch passes a comprehensive final inspection:

Power reserve and timing are verified.

TWO-YEAR SERVICE GUARANTEE

Avedis Gabriel offers a two-year guarantee on all full servicing work.

This guarantee applies to both movement and water resistance performance but does not cover

Damage from accidents or misuse
Modifications made by unauthorized parties
The use of non-Avedis Gabriel parts or accessories

For continued precision and beauty, we recommend servicing your watch every 5 years or as needed.
